The Department of Materials Engineering Holds a Scientific and Cultural Competition as Part of the Golden Jubilee Cultural Week

The Department of Materials Engineering held a distinguished scientific and cultural competition as part of the activities and events of the Golden Jubilee Cultural Week on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in the courtyard of Building B. The competition was attended by the Scientific Assistant, Prof. Dr. Kadhim Matar Shabib, and the Administrative Assistant, Asst. Prof. Dr. Laith Wadah Ismail.

A number of fourth-year students from various branches of the department participated in the competition. They competed in two teams and were asked scientific, cultural, and general information questions. The competition was characterized by a high spirit of creativity and knowledge, reflecting the high academic and cultural level of the department’s students.

At the conclusion of the competition, the Administrative Assistant awarded gifts and medals to the winning team (A), as well as to team (B), praising their enthusiasm and active participation in the success of the event. He emphasized the importance of these activities in honing skills and fostering a spirit of positive competition among students.
