The Department of Materials Engineering holds a scientific lecture as part of the Golden Jubilee Cultural Week on “Using Sustainable Transportation”

The Department of Materials Engineering at the University of Technology held a scientific lecture entitled “Using Sustainable Transportation” as part of the activities and events of the Golden Jubilee Cultural Week. The lecture was delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hussein Ali and Assist. Lect. Mohammed Mahdi Jabbar from the Department of Materials Engineering at the University of Technology on Tuesday,  15/4/ 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in the electronic hall. The lecture was attended by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Jawad Kazim Alawi, and a number of faculty and students from the department.

The lecture included promoting a culture of sustainability and highlighting the importance of environmentally friendly transportation and its role in reducing environmental pollution and preserving natural resources. It also presented possible solutions for adopting sustainable transportation in the local community.

The lecture concluded with the Head of the Department awarding the two lecturers with a certificate of appreciation and a shield of excellence.
