The Department of Materials Engineering holds a lecture as part of the Golden Jubilee Cultural Week on “Law for University Students According to the International Human Rights Standard”

The Department of Materials Engineering at the University of Technology held a lecture entitled “Law for University Students According to the International Human Rights Standard” as part of the activities and events of the Golden Jubilee Cultural Week. The lecture was delivered by M.M. Huthaifa Mohsen Saeed from the Department of Chemical Engineering on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. in the electronic hall, in the presence of the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Jawad Kazim Alawi, and a number of faculty and students from the department.

The lecture covered the law on student protection in Iraqi universities and the implications of student protection in Iraqi regulations and instructions. It also addressed international guarantees for the protection of student rights and relevant international agreements and declarations.

The lecture concluded with the Head of the Department awarding certificates of appreciation and a shield of excellence to the lecturer.
