The Department of Materials Engineering holds discussion (seminars) for graduate students as part of the Golden Jubilee Cultural Week.

The Department of Materials Engineering held discussion  (seminars) for graduate students (PhD, MA) as part of the activities and events of the Golden Jubilee Cultural Week on Wednesday, 16/4/ 2025, at 9:30 AM.

They were divided into three groups. The first group consisted of 12  MA students, and the discussions were held in the electronic hall. The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Hussein Alaa Jaber as Chairman and Dr. Lamis Salam Faeq as Rapporteur. The second group consisted of 11 PhD students, and the discussions were held in the Graduate Studies Hall, Building A. The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Sarmed Emad Ibrahim as Chairman and Dr. Dalia Mohamed Juma as Rapporteur. The third group consisted of 15 PhD students, and the discussions were held in the Graduate Studies Hall, Building B. The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Aseel Basem Abdul Hussein as Chairperson and Dr. Hadeel Ahmed Abbas as Rapporteur, as one of the work methodologies for postgraduate students. The discussion sessions were directly supervised by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Jawad Kadhim Aliwi, and the Scientific Assistant, Prof. Dr. Kadhim Matar Shabib.
