
The Department of Materials Engineering holds a scientific lecture as part of the Golden Jubilee Cultural Week on work skills.
The Department of Materials Engineering/ University of Technology held a scientific lecture entitled “Work Skills” as part of the activities and events of the Golden Jubilee Cultural Week. The lecture was delivered by the Deputy Managing Director, Engineer Rania Dalir Muhammad, from Beit Al-Hikma Company (BHTC) in Baghdad, on Tuesday, 15/4/ 2025, at 9:30 a.m. in the electronic hall. The lecture was attended by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Jawad Kadhim Alawi, the Scientific Assistant, Prof. Dr. Kadhim Matar Shabib, and a number of faculty and students from the department.
The lecture focused on enhancing the capabilities of young people and providing them with the basic skills that qualify them to enter the job market with confidence and competence. It covered several important topics, including effective communication, time management, teamwork, and critical thinking. The lecture concluded with the Head of the Department awarding the lecturer a certificate of appreciation and a shield of excellence.
