The first phase of the three-minute thesis competition has begun in the Department of Materials Engineering

The first stage of the “Three-Minute Thesis” competition has begun in the Department of Materials Engineering at the University of Technology for undergraduate studies. Four outstanding projects from ten fourth-year students competed: Yaqeen Alaa and Nourhan Sadiq, Aya Yasser and Huda Nazim, Hassan Ali and Riyam Yahya and Ahmed Majed, Abdullah Haider and Rasul Mahmoud and Fatima Ibrahim. The competing students presented their projects to a jury composed of Prof. Dr. Hussein Alaa Jaber as chair and Prof. Dr. Mayada Shanan Abd, Assist. Prof. Dr. Khaled Khudair Abbas, Assist. Prof. Dr. Jabbar Hussein Muhammad, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Ishraq Abdul Razzaq Kazim. At the end of the competition, the jury announced the winners of the two projects, Aya Yasser and Huda Nazim.

They qualified for the second phase of the competition from the Department of Materials Engineering to compete at the university level.
