Prof. Dr. Kazim Matar Shabib, the scientific assistant of the Head of the Department (Department of Materials Engineering/Technological University), in cooperation Prof. Dr. Ouda Jabar Brehi and the researcher Zahraa Salah, (College of materials Engineering) published a research paper entitled:

(Performance of Graphene Oxide–Titanium Dioxide, Polyethersulphone Membranes for Industrial Wastewater Treatment) in Ecological Engineering & Environmental Technology Journal.

The journal is indexed in Scopus and clavate with an impact factor of 1.3. The publisher is Polish Society of Ecological Engineering

Abstract:

The research dealt with the preparation of ultrafiltration membranes using polyethersulfone and composite additives of titanium dioxide and graphene oxide.  It was characterized by using a scanning electron microscope, measuring porosity and contact angle. It’s performance was tested through industrial wastewater. Efficiency results appeared in the treatment of industrial wastewater.
